# 35 - Distress It!

Welcome back to the
'Fantasy Stampers Challenge'.

Just a reminder if you are new to our challenge -
your project doesn't have to be
of a 'Fantasy' nature.

First of all, a huge 'Thank You' to those of you that joined us for our last challenge 'Clean & Simple' - we had some fab entries, but just a reminder that we are a stamping challenge, so unfortunately we are unable to consider digital images for our Top 3. Please don't forget to pop back tomorrow to check out our 'Winner's Post'.

Just to let you know we are also always on the lookout for Guest Designers to join us for our 'Midway Motivation' posts on the alternate Saturdays to the challenge.  This opportunity will require you to make two projects on two different themes and would give you the chance to experience being on a design team, without all the extra commitment.  If you are interested in being a 'Guest Designer' please add GDT after your entry below.
oooOooo

So, here we go with Challenge No.35 - our theme for the next two weeks is ...

So, we would love to see your interpretations - will it be distressed edges, use of distress inks or general distressing of embellishment, etc?

BUT please remember, we are a stamping challenge so your project MUST include stamping and please state clearly which stamp/stamps you used in your blog post (no digital images please)

Here's what the Design Team made for your inspiration ...

Stamp - Hero Arts 'Collage Gratitude'

Stamp - Woodware 'Love Tulips'

Stamp - Clarity Stamps 'Live, Laugh, Love'
(and some freebie Craft Stamper stamps)

Background Stamp - Stampin' Up 'Woodgrain'

Stamp - Little Claire 'Good Times'

Fantastic work from the DT once again
- thank you ladies.
And 'Thank You' to those of you leaving comments
about our DT projects - they are much appreciated.

Now it's over to you - to submit your entry just click on the little blue button below and remember to link your entry back to our blog. We will be around to visit your blogs over the next fortnight and I will be back with details of our next challenge on the 9th May.

Wishing you all lots of luck,

Midway Motivation - CAS

Welcome back to our
 'Midway Motivation' post here at
FANTASY STAMPERS.

I'm back with our Guest Designer, Hannah  today to give you a little extra motivation for our current 'Clean and Simple' challenge.  Just in case you missed it last time, here's a little bit about her ...

Hi, I have always been creative - I am a paper crafter at heart, although I also paint, knit and crochet (I cannot sew, and am terrified of the sewing machine - although I really would like one!)

I started paper crafting a few years ago after finding a crafting TV channel and fell in love with scrapbooking. After making a scrapbook album for my mum one Christmas I had a heap of scraps left over and turned to cardmaking to get them used - cue finding yet another craft! I started to make all our Birthday and Christmas cards, and last year made all our Wedding stationery.

I joined Stampin' Up as a demonstrator in June last year, and blog at least four times a week. I also hold craft classes from my home in Teeside several times a month, as well as teaching card-making to ladies with dementia in the care home where I work.

oooOooo

Here's Hannah's gorgeous project for our current challenge ...

And here's a close-up of the stamped detail ...

Stamp - Stampin' Up

Many thanks, Hannah.

So, there is still plenty of time to join us - the current challenge will close on the 24th April, and I will be back with details of our next challenge the following day.
