Midway Motivation - Buttons and Bows

Welcome back to our brand new
 'Midway Motivation' post here at
FANTASY STAMPERS.

I am thrilled to announce that we have our very first Guest Designer with us today, who will be joining us for our 'Midway Motivation' during the month of August. So let me let me introduce Helen ...

I've been a card maker for many years and particularly enjoy stamping. I'm lucky enough to be part of the design team for Little Claire, Pink Gem, Nutcrafters and Card Creations Plus, as well as several challenge blogs. For the past two years I've worked for Abbeyfield, which is a charity providing care for older people. I'm an Activities Co-ordinator covering a care home and two sheltered houses.

oooOooo

We have only had a few entries so far for our 'Buttons & Bows' challenge, but here is a fantastic project from Helen for a little inspiration ...

A pretty little gift wallet using 'Little Claire' stamp
'Loverly Jubblies - Daisy Bunting'

Many thanks, Helen.

So, there is still plenty of time to join us - the current challenge will close on the 15th August, and I will be back with details of our next challenge on 16th August.

# 16 - Buttons and Bows

Welcome back to the
'Fantasy Stampers Challenge'.

Just a reminder if you are new to our challenge -
your project doesn't have to be
of a 'Fantasy' nature.

First of all, a big 'Thank You' to those of you who played along with us last time for our 'Animal Magic' challenge - we had some very cute entries. Please don't forget to pop back tomorrow to check out our 'Winner's Post'.

On a sadder note we said goodbye to one of our design team members this month - Sandra has decided to step down to concentrate on her own craft business, so on behalf of the team and myself, I would just like to wish her every success for the future. I will be looking for an additional DT member to join us soon, so watch this space (if anyone is interested, you know where to find me).

Now for news on our Guest Designers - I have crafters lined up for August, September and October for our 'Midway Motivation' posts which will appear on the alternate Saturdays to the challenge posts - but we are still on the lookout for more! There will be an opportunity for someone to join us every month as a Guest Designer and this will require you to make two projects on two different themes - this would provide the opportunity to experience being on a design team, without all the extra commitment.  If you are interested in being a 'Guest Designer' please add GDT after your entry below.

oooOooo

So, here we go with Challenge No.16 - our theme for the next two weeks is ...

Now if you are anything like me, this one should be easy - I am embellishment mad and do not need any excuses to add then to my projects. So, why not check out that stash and come join us this time.

BUT please remember, we are a stamping challenge so your project MUST include stamping and please state clearly which stamp/stamps you used in your blog post (no digital images please)

Here's what the Design Team made for your inspiration ...

Stamp - Indigoblu sentiment and background stamp

Stamp - Creative Expressions 'Antique Dressforms'

Stamp - Kaisercraft 'Hessian Backgrounds' and
Stampin Up 'Sassy Salutations'

Stamp - Sheena Douglass 'Always Floral'

Stamp - Wellington Stamp Set

Fantastic work from the DT - thank you ladies.

Now it's over to you - to submit your entry just click on the little blue button below and remember to link your entry back to our blog. We will be around to visit your blogs over the next fortnight and I will be back with details of our next challenge on 16th August.

Wishing you all lots of luck,
Big hugz, Jan xx
